There are ‘n’ number of things we do in our daily life that is operated by our subconscious. Driving the car, going to bathroom, taking shower, doing the laundry, making photo copies, making coffee, etc., are a few examples of actions predominantly performed by our subconscious mind. The list of actions is different for each one of us depending upon our life style, our profession, our disposition and our orientation.
For some of us it is during these times when the physical action being performed is predominantly controlled by the subconscious, is when the conscious mind starts wandering in thoughts. It is during these times that we often find ourselves thinking about something or someone. Our conscious mind is weaving us thoughts. Positive or negative thoughts. Thoughts in the form of feelings, thoughts in the form of vision or thoughts in the form of sound.
Pick a chant. A chant that you, physically, mentally & spiritually are able to articulate and chant comfortably. The chant could be a long prayer or a primordial word. A chant that you can connect with and center yourself.
Anytime you find yourself involved in activities that are primarily controlled by the the subconscious mind, CHANT! Chant Away. You could chant external or internal. You could chant in the form of talking or in the form of hearing. Identify the actions in your daily life that could be utilized to Chant your mantra and bring your mind in your control. Do this and watch your life unfold and transform.
